I have a 2011 prius with code p261C. We replaced water pump with used pump from LKQ, reset codes. car drove fine for about a month, P261C came back. Freeze data shows "target pump speed 2600". "pump speed 0". "coolant temp 86C". I'm thinking the pump failed to turn on.P261C is an electrical problem with the speed control and pump tachometer feedback signals between the electric water pump and the ECM. Gives out 12v from the pump when cable is loose, when i connect it to control unit it drops down to 0,5v AC. Pin1 has ground and pin2 has 12v to the pump ...Also fault code P261C secondary water pump and P2426 exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control circuit low.
