Spain did not as far as I know get a military or manpower buff from the colonies, it was a drain on the military resources in exchange for other resources. Colonization is too easy compared to our history. In early 17th century the new world is almost if not completely colonized. IRL it was 1750-ish.But Andalusia is a very nice country over all if you want to do your average cursed Castile -> Caliphate run. Spanish mission tree is overall better imo, but andalusia is also a lot of fun. Totally up to you and what game you’re trying to have.
