Oct 4, 2019 · Beretta Silver Pigeon or Benelli 828U. I’m in the market for an O/U. Mainly to use in the field, but I also shoot sporting clays while I practice for the seasons. I’ve been a big benelli fan, and have several because they seem to fit me well. They are all semi autos. I know fit is everything, so that will play a huge role. . Benelli is an inertia gun. It requires a certain amount of recoil to function consistently. Two of the Benelli had similar trigger issues that effected their hunt. The friend had the A400 and he had a great hunt. Another option to look at would be the Franchi Affinity 3.5.
