Overall height is actually short but bore-axis is high. I usually carry my 1911 Commander but I've carried my HK45C for weeks at times. The difference is noticable but it is not that big an issue. It was actually more difficult to find a holster for it.Maybe too much for my burn scarred hands, so I switched to the HK Light TRS to get better feedback on the reset. So far so good with 350 rounds down range. I also converted an HK45 Tactical V1 to Match/Hybrid LEM V7.
